Andy Kendall
Director
Hi, my name is Andy Kendall known as Genghis and, as Director of Great Western Chapter (GWC), I wish you a very warm welcome.
You may not be familiar with the Chapter community, and it may seem a daunting prospect if you are thinking of joining us, especially when there are so many established members.
However, no need to worry. I, like every other member shared the same anxiety when we first took the ‘plunge’ and joined. We are a very friendly group and from the first meeting or event that you attend you will be made most welcome by us all. As you get involved with the Chapter you will quickly make new friends and experience the bond that holds us together. As many of the members have discovered the Chapter is treated like ‘a second family’.
There are many events to hopefully draw you in as follows:
-We have a monthly meeting night in the Bristol area to keep you informed on what’s going on.There are monthly rideouts, plus our very own annual rally and GWC visits to rallies organised by other Chapters, both home and abroad. Mixed in for fun are a variety of other social events.
As a member you will receive a copy of our quarterly e-magazine “RoadHOG” and we encourage you to submit your own articles either about yourself, your bike history or an event you attended. Other information is circulated by email and of course there is this website.
In fact there is always something going on, so please come along to any of these events and make yourself known, hopefully you’ll be pleasantly surprised how it opens up a whole new lifestyle. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or speak with any of the other Committee members who are there to help you.
Ride safe.
Andy ‘Genghis’
